Earlier this year, Fraser-Pryce announced that she would be retiring after participating in this year’s Summer Olympics in Paris. The highly anticipated sporting event is quickly approaching, but the sprinter has yet to make her debut on the track in 2024.

However, Fraser-Pryce has been putting in work on the track and in the gym, frequently sharing scenes from her training sessions on social media. Yesterday, several photos of the sprinter out on the track and in the gym were shared on her Instagram page, with one of the posts highlighting her supremacy in the 100m distance.

The post also highlighted her Olympic accomplishments, noting that she has won individual medals in four consecutive Olympic Games.

The second post, which was co-shared by watch brand Richard Mille, for which she is an ambassador, praised Fraser-Pryce for her resilience both on and off the track.

“The Kingston native is no stranger to sacrifice and hard work. Growing up in one of the city’s most fearsome neighbourhoods, taught her to be tough. She even won her first ever race running barefoot!” the post stated.

Fraser-Pryce closed out her 2023 season with a bronze medal finish in the 100m at the World Championships in Budapest. After several delayed starts to her season, the athlete did not open her season that year until the Jamaican Championships in July.
