Shericka Jackson: “Cramp in the hamstring”, Says Physiotherapist

After pulling up during her 200m race in Hungry on Tuesday, Shericka Jackson is yet to comment directly on the matter, however, her physiotherapist, Troy Evans has commented on the matter, leaving many to breathe a sigh of relief.
Jackson finished the race in 8th position after leading off the bend, nevertheless, she was getting strong competition from an opponent on her right who went on to win the race, with fellow Jamaican Natasha Morrison finishing the race in 4th place.
It would appear that she was pushing herself when she felt something in her “hamstring.”
Jackson completely stopped before walking gingerly over the line.
Moments after the race, via an Instagram post on Tuesday, Jackson’s physiotherapist, Evens, stated “cramp in the hamstring, she will be working on.”
The message sheds light on one of the many speculations, that she’s not fully ready/in-shape and will be ok after a few weeks of training and rest. Jackson and others are expected to compete for Jamaica at the upcoming Paris Olympics.
