Jamaican businessman, manager and promoter Romeich Major is now engaged to his girlfriend Shacqueal Witter. Romeich revealed the engagement on Monday via a social media post which features a video and a lengthy heartfelt statement.
In his statement Major points out that “years ago” he was not thinking about getting married, however, being a part of Shacqueal’s life has changed his mind. He also acknowledged the critics who have had bad things to say about their relationship over the years.
He stated, “If you had told me years ago that this day would come I would laugh at you. She gave me the chance to be apart of her life and I am not letting her go! Alot of people doubt our relationship in so many ways but God and our happiness is always saying somehthing different.”
He continued, “You don’t marry someone you can live with, you marry the person you cannot live with out and @shacqueal.witter is that woman for me. The journey continues with Mr and Mrs Major π₯°ππ€©πππππ she had to say yes!!!!”
He includes the statement by saying, “And people I wasn’t crying ok you know man a thugs π

The statement was accompanied by a two-minute and twenty-five seconds long video, showing everyone how he popped the question. As shown in the video, it was a surprise for Shacqueal who got emotional right after noticing what was going on.
Romeich also got emotional at one point too, after she said “yes” and placing the ring on her finger. The event was attended by close friends and family members including Roemich’s son, Xzander Romeich Major.
While it’s unclear how long the two have been dating, the two went public with their relationship in 2022.
