Reggae artiste Queen Ifrica described Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel as a “distraction machine” on Friday as she called out music producer Skatta Burrell and businessman Joe Bogdanovich.

The vocal entertainer’s latest criticisms come on the same day Skatta announced that Kartel’s first concert after his release will be in partnership with Bogdanovich. Ifrica took aim at Bogdanovich and Skatta during a live stream on her Instagram page and expressed that Kartel is being used as a distraction.

“The distraction machine oil up. Right deh dem just put in di 90 in a it de now a drive-round in a it every day a video and a do live. Yeah, that a di 90 gas weh dem put in a di distraction machine. Our dearly beloved teacher,” Ifrica stated.

She then called out Skatta and Bogdanovich and said that the men are not gods. She reiterated her statements later in the live stream as she expressed that they are attempting to destroy Jamaican culture.

“Joe Bogdanovich, your not the almighty creator. So all that I see you guys lining up and trying to kill Jamaica culture fi help create di new Jamaica, its not going to work [ … ] It might look like you guys are making gains, with unuh devil gathering weh unuh set up in a Jamaica and a work ova night fi put pan throne,” Ifica said.

She then turned her attention back to Kartel, whom she advised to turn to God and humble himself. The Far Away singer criticised the deejay for what she described as a return to the place of negativity he had been before his imprisonment.

“A right which part yuh go in yuh come out a come pick up back from and a ignore di almighty [ … ] Yuh come out a bat fi di devil out di gate yute a dat mi si yah do. And have the almighty people because dem unda trance. Unda KFC, and J Wray and Nephew rum and unda neat all a di crossis weh unuh have Jamaica populus unda.”

Ifrica went on to criticise Kartel for promoting tobacco and alcohol consumption immediately after his prison release. She also had harsh words for the deejay’s lawyer, Isat Buchanan, who she said is working directly with the devil.

Additionally, Ifrica called on Chief Richard Currie, Buju Banton, Foota Hype, Spragga Benz, and Sizzla and said they are meant to be children of God and not the devil or the system. In regards to controversial social media personality L.A. Lewis, Ifrica said she does not know whose child he is and is still working on finding out.
