Spice Confirmed for Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert

Monday night, the leader of the Gaza Nation, Vybz Kartel confirmed that Spice will be performing at his much-anticipated Freedom Street Concert which is set for New Year’s Eve.
According to Kartel, he spoke to Spice shortly before making the announcement. The Queen of the Dancehall is the first artiste announced to be a part of the lineup of artistes who will grace the stage at the show.
“Gaza Nation look pan mi good, know a who mi just a chat to, guess, all when a night yuh … feel like sun hot when yuh come inna mi ramping shop… nah fi seh nutt’n more, yuh wah si the king and the queen fi the first time in 13 years, Freedom Street December 31st, be there,” he said in a video posted to his Instagram.
As a caption for the video, he wrote, “@spiceofficial Royalty LINK up…History Again me Queen!!!!! 👑 💕❤️💯🙏🏾 who never see this yet , DONT MISS IT!!!!!! #FREEDOMSTREET DECEMBER 31ST 2024.’
While the full lineup is pending, in his most recent TVJ Interview, Kartel expressed that he would like Spice and Slillibeng on his show hence Skillibeng is also expected to perform. “Mi nuh like people still enuh, suh, mi nuh know… Spice, Skillibeng,” he stated as he struggled to call names.
Prior to the Spice announcement, Kartel shared multiple videos on Monday of himself working out as he seeks to improve his health for the show that was 3 and 1/2 months ago.
