2 Brothers Drown at River in Portland

A 19-year-old and his 31-year-old brother drowned on Thursday at a river located in the Skibo community which is located in western Portland.

According to the police, the younger brother was visiting from overseas and decided to take a swim in the river, he faced difficulties in the water which resulted in the bigger brother jumping in.

However, after the older brother tried to rescue his teen sibling, he was unsuccessful in doing so which resulted in both brothers drowning.

The 19-year-old was visiting his relatives on the island, the incident took place during a family celebration endeavour.
