Prior to having her son and only child, Rajeiro Lee, Shenseea and his father, Rob, were in a relationship for some time before calling it quits. While the singer has never spoken much about her past relationship, it has always been evident that it did not end well, something Shenseea hinted at again during her interview.

While speaking with Bobbi Althoff, Shenseea shared that she does not think you can find the right person to have a child with because people, like Rob, changed after the birth of their son.

“I don’t think your gono ever find the right person to have kids with because people change after you give birth. I know from experience. Like my child’s father and I were really close like twins. Until we had a kid it went opposite,” Shenseea stated.

The Work Me Out singer further expressed that while she initially thought five years was enough to get to know someone before marriage, she now believes ten years would be best.

“Before I was like, maybe I should date the person for like five years. Be in a relationship with them for like five years, girlfriend and boyfriend, and then I get engaged. But I’m thinking like eight to ten years. Let’s see if we can do a decade before we get married,” Shenseea said.

Some viewers of the video agreed with the artiste, while others thought ten years was far too long.

“There is no time frame to get married. Whenever you feel like the time is right then just do it. Plus i agree on men change after a kid comes into the frame,” one fan wrote.

Another stated, “She’s not wrong and when a man get uh front dem Nuh wah ntg else dem cut gone.”
