TikToker Pops YG Arrested for Lottery Scamming

As per reports, young TikToker Pops YG who is best known for showing off his Benz and large amounts of cash on the app is currently in police custody after being arrested and charged by Trelawny Police officers.
17-year-old Pops YG aka Home Town Boss gained popularity online for his flamboyant lifestyle and catchy phrases such as “up inna dem hometown”, oftentimes pointing out that his Benz is better than most other vehicles on the road.
The TikToker who has over 104k followers on the app was arrested on October 3, 2024, inside a gated community in Trelawny after large sums of cash were found at the residence he was staying at and lottery scamming-related content in his phone, per reports.
The arrest news comes a week after the entertainer shared a video on TikTok of himself in his car and police officers walking away which prompted comments from followers such as, “Money dem a look mn,” and, “packet ago eva bun when u see them.”
He is expected to answer the charges in court.
Last month a video also went viral online, showing Pops YG in handcuffs as he was questioned by law enforcers beside his vehicle. He was later placed inside a police service vehicle.
