Leaked Photo Shows Over-Crowded Jail Cell: Annotto Bay, St. Mary

Jamaica is known to host some of the most deplorable jails and prisons in the region with many videos and photos of the inhuman conditions being shown in many leaked videos and photos over the years.

The latest leak that shows inside a local facility surfaced Wednesday night.

The image shows a part of the room/cell where the men are being housed at a local lockup. While the photo does not show the entire inside and all the men in the room, the photo shows at least 9 men lying on the ground seemingly sleeping.

As per the source of the photo, the image is from the “Annotto Bay, St. Mary Jail where 38 suspects are being held at a jail designed to house 12.”
