Pops YG Released from Jail: “Prison nuh nice youth”

Pops YG resurfaced on the internet a week after being locked up by police in Trelawny. In newly circulating videos, the flamboyant TikToker talks about his bad experience behind bars and the things he will be doing to make sure he does not return to jail in the future.
As per reports, the teen who recently celebrated a birthday in August and is best known for showing off his Benz and large amounts of cash on the app got arrested and charged by Trelawny Police officers last Thursday, October 3, 2024.
The arrest was made after lottery scamming content and a large amount of cash was found at a location where he was staying in the parish. The arrest happened just days after the ‘Home Town Boss’ shared a video on TikTok of himself after seemingly being accosted by police officers who were seen walking away in the video clip.
On the other hand, weeks ago, a video went viral on TikTok, showing Pops YG in handcuffs as he was questioned by police officers. Following his latest run-in with the law, Pops YG did a TikTok live to explain to his followers what had happened to him and what the experience was like in his usually comical manner.
“Sense dem teach mi now… Dem carry mi guh lock mi up and mi know weh mi get lockup fah, suh a sense them carry mi guh teach mi… As mi drop out a jail mi guh find a bomma, that mi a tell unuh, dem lock mi up… as mi cum out mi guh find one bomma…unuh look out fi the 53 anytime now and mi nuh suppose to a tell unuh mi business again.”
In another part of the live chat, he recalled getting KFC in jail but the chicken got cold and tough, “When mi inna jail… a 9 piece them carry come gi mi fi nyam… chicken get cold inna the night youth… round 2’clock wi git up inna the jail and nyam sum… my youth dem tough… come like e jus cum offa di ice.. prison nuh nice youth.”
As it relates to the reason why he got locked up, Pops YG says it was badmind by the cops after they saw his “blue plate”, they wanted money.
He went on to highlight that he did not bathe for two days while he was in lockup.
