Taxi Driver Tried to Abduct Female Passenger Along Hope Road: Video

This footage was shared online on Thursday, it shows a parked taxi without any occupant inside or a driver in sight.
As per, Chavz on X(formerly Twitter), the person who was operating the taxi, a male, tried to kidnap his girlfriend who had to escape by jumping through the window. The driver was reportedly arrested following the incident which took place on October 16.
The person recording the video stated, “Dah car yah, the bwoy weh drive dah car yah try tek weh one woman a while ago, right pan Hope Road across from Devon House, police dem tek him and gone a while ago, through the window the woman affi jump a while ago.”
He continued, “Through the window the woman jump a while ago and get weh, police wul him a while ago and gone wid him.”
Chavz shared a caption with the video, asking viewers to be vigilant when using Taxi services.
“Guys be careful on the road with these taxi men and if you can avoid “Travler Taxi” company the driver tried to kidnap my girlfriend and the company out here defending the driver labeling him as a good driver like wtf.”
“After she called and reported the driver’s name they said they don’t know of that driver today they call back saying he’s a good driver and his sugar level went down and all sort of rubbish. They’re out here defending a kidnapper God knows how may other ppl he tried to kidnap,” says Chavz.
