Shawn Storm Lashes Out at Foota Hype and Critics Following Criticism of BMW Gift from Kartel

After Foota Hype criticised Vybz Kartel for gifting Shawn Storm a ‘small’ BMW, Shawn Storm lashed out at the outspoken selector and other critics on Wednesday. Foota had questioned, “How yuh fi gi the man Japanese BMW yuh mad?”

Following the circulation of Kartel gifting his long-time friend the new car, Foota Hype expressed that the vehicle was inadequate. The controversial sound system selector made the statements during a party and instructed Shawn Storm to return the vehicle to a dealership and upgrade to a ‘real car’.

Foot Hype went on to state in a separate video that while it was good that the artiste received the car, he deserves better than that, as per Foota, the ‘Loyal’ artiste should have gotten a X5 or X6 or better.

“Dah car deh bredda nuh meck nuh sense. Yuh too big fi dah car deh. Yuh too tall fi dah car deh… Shawn Storm a artiste bro. Shawn Storm a star. Di man fi look like star and Shawn Storm fi get a house to,” Foota Hype stated.

The selector added that Kartel could have done better, but he does not feel that the two are on good terms.

Following the criticism, MC Nuffy shared Shawn Storm’s response to all the backlash from Kartel’s gift. The My Life deejay first explained that he and Kartel are friends for decades before they began their musical journeys.

He also shared that their parents are well acquainted. Addressing his critics, Shawn Storm said that some of them wanted him and Kartel to remain incarcerated.

“Big b*tty boy, some a unuh a who did wah wi live a prison and dead a prison. Guh s*ck unuh m*da. All a unuh weh a chat, mi seh guh s*ck unuh m*da b*tty boy. B*tty boy and b*tty gyal… unuh fi glad seh wi deh a road and stop bad mind wi,” Shawn Storm said.

He further stated that he was the one who wanted the BMW and that his critics should expect to see him receive another new vehicle next year.

“… Unuh a guh si another van next year, p*sy. And den unuh a guh si another bl**dcl**t car again before the year done… Unuh weh a chat off unuh mouth, unuh eva buy unuh friend a bicycle yet?” Shawn Strom stated.

As he continued to hit back at his critics, the artiste warned that they should not push him back down the dark road he was once on.
