41 Busshead’s Grandmother Speaks Out on Livestream: “Who Do It Them Will Neva Sleep Comfortable”

Following his passing last week, the grandmother of Marvin ’41 Busshead’ Samuels has spoken out online. During a live stream, Samuels’ grandmother extended her gratitude to those who have been sending their condolences.

She shared that she raised Samuels and has played the role of a father and mother to him. She also expressed that she is proud of Samuels as he did not pursue a life of crime.

“Him nuh have nobody else but me. Mi a him fada, mi a him mada, mi a him sista, mi a him aunty, mi a him granny… Me grow him. And mi grow him and mi feel proud bout him. Mi proud a him. Him meck mi feel good because mi si him seh him nuh tun nuh bad man. Him nuh tun nuh criminal. Him nuh tun nuh gunman. Him nih tun nothing that is bad,” Samuels’ grandmother said.

She went on to express that they had killed him for nothing, but she is placing her trust in God.

“Dem kill him fi nutting, but God si everybody. God Know everything, and what I don’t do and what you don’t do, others will do it. But me as the granny leave everyting in the hands of God. Because I know who do it them will neva sleep comfortable,” Samuels’ grandmother stated.

She added that she will provide information regarding Samuels’ funeral to his fans and supporters as the plans are made.

Samuels was shot and killed late Friday night before his birthday on Saturday. His passing has sent the Jamaican TikTok community in mourning, and many have been sending their condolences online.
