The mentioning of the ‘jacket’ problem comes a week after reports that two popular Jamaicans fell victim to paternity fraud in 2024. One entertainer and one sports star were listed as victims, however, their names were not revealed.

The report detailed a startling statistic that 47% of DNA tests conducted by 876DNA in 2024 yielded adverse results, revealing the widespread demand for paternity testing in Jamaica.
