American rapper Nicki Minaj is on a roll as it relates to her support for Jamaican TikTokers, having supported several popular Jamaicans on the app over the past year or so.
On Friday, footage surfaced online of the 42-year-old leader of the Barbz in a chat with Blam Dem. Notably, Blam Dem has been making a name for himself on the app in recent times, getting his first buzz via videos of him disrespecting Dancehall artiste Squash and his mother.
Squash also seemingly recently poked fun at Blam Dem on Instagram, laughing and telling someone to go look for a job on the heels of news of TikTok’s ban in America. As per the internet, Squash was aiming at Blam Dem, Blam Dem who points out that he was once around Squash in Montego Bay also stated that he believes that the Dancehall artiste was shading him.
As it relates to Nicki’s support for Jamaicans on TikTok, prior to endorsing Blam Dem, she endorsed 41 Buss Head, Moya, World Dawg, Landale, Derrick Morgan and Brittany Goffe, she also follows Jayden.
The new video shows Nicki Minaj and Blam Dem having a short conversation after he requested to join her stream. During the chat, she stated that she wanted to send him gifts, however, she’s unable to do so at the moment because TikTok blocked her from doing so.
“I wanna come and send stuff but for now I can’t recharge anymore because of the whole… I wanna go and gift all of my favourite TikTokers who make me laugh and stuff,” she stated before telling Blam Dem that she loves him and that he should take care.
In the live chat, Blam Dem also joked about being around Dancehall artiste Skeng, however, she paused before saying that she is close to Skeng and she does not want anyone to play themselves with any funny joke about the deejay.
