Reggae artiste Determine whose real name is Rohan Bennett died on Thursday after a fight with stomach cancer. News of the Artiste’s passing started making rounds on social media Thursday night with multiple local news outlets also confirming the death of the St. Mary native.
His death was also confirmed by artiste manager Paula Francis, with whom he has three children.
Determine who is from Annotto Bay in the parish was born in 1972 and died at 52. He was living in the USA for several years before his passing.
He’s best known for his 1995 hit song, ‘Kette Drum,’ which he wrote with Beenie Man.
The news of Determine’s passing comes just 3 weeks after fellow recording artiste Danny English also passed away due to an illness he has been suffering from for years. Danny English was 54 years old.
