A$AP Rocky is the Latest Rapper to Diss Drake in Song – Listen

A$AP Rocky supports Rihanna on the newly released song titled ‘Show Of Hands,’ by Future & Metro Boomin while aiming at Drake. This song is part of the new album by Metro Boomin and Future, ‘We Still Don’t Trust You,’ which debuted on April 12.

In ‘Show Of Hands’ Rocky directly addresses Drake, referencing his comments about Rihanna in ‘For All The Dogs.’ The song escalates as Rocky brings Drake’s ex, Sophie Brussaux, into the conversation, implying a previous relationship with her. He also critiques Drake’s recent work, suggesting it lacked impact.

In his lyrics, Rocky states, “Claiming their partners are the best, I ended up with the least favourable/Emotions stirred over females, are you upset?/I was involved before your child was conceived, I was the first, indeed/Trust is scarce, it’s always us, not them/Noticed your new release/It’s amusing how it appeared and disappeared.”

This conflict traces back to Drake‘s ‘Another Late Night’ from his album ‘For All The Dogs,’ where he subtly criticized A$AP. Furthermore, in ‘Fear of Heights,’ Drake makes indirect comments about Rihanna and their relationship’s intimacy, suggesting a lack of interest in rekindling anything with her.

On the other hand, Rocky earlier responded in ‘WOW,’ a collaboration with Kid Cudi, hinting at potential retaliation for any further provocations from Drake. He emphasizes Rihanna’s loyalty and warns of keeping track of offences.

Check out ‘Show Of Hands’ which was released Friday, 12th of April.
