Actor ‘Mackie’ of Royal Palm Estate Found Dead

Veteran Jamaican actor and educator Ronald “Mackie” Goshop who is best known for his acting endeavours in the classic Jamaican TV drama series ‘Royal Palm Estate’ was found dead at his home on Wednesday.

The talented actor was a garner in the Royal Palm Estate TV series. He also played a role as Oliver Samuels’ relative in one of the several series he played in after getting his break in the 1990s.

Mackie who is a nightclub owner won the Lotto and disappeared from TV during the prime of his career.

Goshop was also a teacher at Excelsior High School for several years

The cause of his death is unknown. As per reports, Mackie passed away at 72 years old.
