Aidonia and Masicka Unite After Years-Long Feud – Watch Video
Last night marked a significant occasion in dancehall as Aidonia and Masicka set aside their years-long feud and united. This momentous moment occurred at Summa Fest 2023 within the Kensington Oval in Barbados, where the two dancehall heavyweights held the spotlight as headliners of the event.
The once-arch rivals settled their differences when Aidonia exited the stage following an electrifying performance.
This was when he came upon Masicka, who was heading to the stage with his entourage. The two deejays exchanged a long-overdue friendly dap as well as a few words. Following the dap, Masicka continued on his way, and Aidonia, who was shirtless and covered in sweat as a testament to his set, went along his way.
The remarkable occasion was captured on camera, and the video has been circulating on social media, drawing praise from fans.

In reaction to the viral video, some fans are now wishing that this level of peace can spread throughout dancehall and end other feuds, especially Vybz Kartel and Alkaline’s years-long rivalry and the beef between Masicka and Alkaline.

The strife between Masicka and Aidonia gave birth to multiple diss tracks, but the cause of the feud was never confirmed.
Dancehall artiste Shokryme, a member of Aidonia’s JOP/4th Genna camp, alleged during a 2017 interview with The Fix that the feud started because Masicka felt jealous of Aidonia and because he did not get the opportunity to join the camp during the earlier parts of his career.
