Aidonia Still in Mourning – See Pics and Video

Popular dancehall artiste Aidonia made a few posts to his Instagram story today after not showing any activity since the passing of his 9-year-old son. Aidonia’s son, King Khalif Lawrence, lost his battle with cancer on December 3 and the youngster took his last breath in the arms of his parents. Since then, the artiste has remained off his social media.

According to Loop News, Khalif Lawrence, the only child of Sheldon “Aidonia” Lawrence and Kimberly Megan, was diagnosed with cancer in August 2019. The recent Instagram Stories posts, along with the prolonged silence of the artiste, attest to the fact that Aidonia and his wife are still experiencing profound sadness as they try to get through this period of mourning and attempt to grasp the reality that their little bundle of joy, that they used to celebrate with numerous social media posts, will not be a part of their lives physically going forward.

In the first two posts, Aidonia can be seen posing for joyous photos with his son Khalif. The two can be seen in a pool with a beach ball and also making funny faces.

The last post, a video, shows a family clip with Aidonia and Kimberly with their beloved son Khalif in the back seat of a car. The child is seen pulling at his father, who is wearing a colourful mask, as they shoot the video. The Lawrence family is seen smiling as the energetic child shouts, “Come yah Diddy don!” in reference to his father as he tries to get him within the frame of the video, while his mother looks on, a smile on her face.
