Aidonia Struggles to Come to Terms with the Loss of His Son Khalif – See Post
As dancehall artiste Aidonia continues to mourn the death of his son Khalif Lawrence, the deejay has opened up about his struggle to come to terms with the loss of his only child.
Khalif passed away on December 3, 2022, following a three-year battle with cancer after his diagnosis in August 2019. Aidonia and his wife, Kimberly Megan, have openly expressed the immense void that has been left in their lives without their son.
The couple shared birthday messages on social media on what would have been Khalif’s tenth birthday in January, and Aidonia frequently posts memories of his son. On Wednesday, Aidonia spoke about how difficult it has been to move on without Khalif and his struggle to suppress his feelings, at times turning to alcohol.

“Woke up with tears in my eyes thinking about u papa. Trying hard to be ok, but I just can’t!!!! Using rum and weed to suppress my thoughts and emotions! But in reality, I’m LOST without you. Miss you son. I can hear you, I can feel you, I can smell you, I just can’t see you,” Aidonia wrote.
