Tekashi 6ix9ine is still being defended by Akon for snitching and now he wants to make music with him.

While he was having a conversation on Instagram Live recently with DJ Whoo Kid, who is the R&B singer turned entrepreneur, he was sympathetic with Tekashi and explained that he understood his decision, even though it might have extreme ramifications.

“With Tekashi it’s a little different because he comes from a generation that really didn’t have no moral ethic,” Akon added in the interview.

He couldn’t really speak on why he would do that, but most likely it’s for the obvious reasons. Everyone goes through something in their lives that propels them to do things that they feel are in the best interest of themselves. Akon thinks, you really can’t blame Tekashi, if what he’s saying is the truth.

Akon always had respect for the colorful rapper. Even in November 2019 when legal woes began to catch up with him, the Konvict Muzik founder was very supportive of Takashi’s decision.

The Senegal born entertainer didn’t even stop to think when he was asked if he would feature on Tekashi’s track in the near future as it is known that 6ix9ine is working on two new albums now that he is on house arrest.

Akon plans to feature on the record. “Matter fact, I’m about to call Tekashi right now and say ‘yo, T, what we doin’? I’m ’bout to get on that record.’ Listen, I’m me, n***a. You can’t beat me up. I’m getting on that record.” he added

He believes the record will probably be the hottest record to be released this year because of all that surrounded this record. Even people who don’t like him will buy the music and download it, because of curiosity.

Akon later said that snitching now wasn’t like back then, adding that the Brooklyn rapper definitely had a very tough decision to make when he was in prison.

He also believes that the 23-year-old rapper is in need of a second chance and he thinks he is young enough to turn his entire life around if he decides to stay strong and humble.
