After releasing the song in just over a week ago on March 17, now “with the thing” is at 994,422 views and is expected to reach 1m views before the day ends.

This just might be Alkaline’s biggest song over the past year based on youtube views, this one seems to be moving fast. The witty track that hits out against badmind and fake friends was produced by Produced by ZJ Chrome.

Aimed at the more grimy hardcore dancehall audience which in fact seems to be Alkaline’s main fan base, in recent weeks Akaline also released a cultural uplifing song called “Never Lose Hope” which did not seem to get much traction, after all he’s not known for those songs.
