Alkaline’s Producer Passes Away

If you are an Alkaline fan you would have certainly heard songs such as “Nuh Trust Mankind”, “Payroll”, and “Magic”, produced by the Westmorland based label “Sartout Records”. It happens that the production team is going through very sad times as Dane Sortie who was one of the producers on the label with his twin brother passed away.
Dane Sortie is well known for his part in the production, by playing the guitar while his brother does the beat construction And has been working with Alkaline since his first EP “Youngest and The Baddest” where they produced “Ugly Truth” and “Nuttin But Badmind “.
This year, however, was one of the biggest for the production group even though it turned out to be very sad as they made it to the Billboard at number 2 position, by their work contribution to “Alka’s” Top Prize Album. The story goes that Sartout Records connected with the “Yung Lawd” since 2011, on Facebook where they solidified their link with the deejay and got him on their debut project entitled “Breakaway Riddim”.
The team of producers, including the former Mannings High School student, Dane Sortie, appeared as well on fast-rising Dancehall artiste Deeclef’s debut EP, “Agape” producing the song entitled “Represent” featured on Sartout Record’s “Control Riddim” production.
The death of the music producer has hit many Vendetta fans as well as those who knew him personally, and many of them have sent their R.I.Ps and condolences, to his family via posts made on Instagram announcing the passing of the musician.
