Another WOMAN DROWNS in Rio Cobre After Bus Accident – Video

Less than a week after 49-year-old Ava Thelwell drowned in the Rio Cobre, another woman is reported to have suffered the same faith. A minibus that today’s victim was travelling in, got into an accident, causing the bus to go off-road into the river. The bus collided with a Toyota Fielder station wagon that was reportedly overtaking other vehicles along the narrow roadway.

The bus was on route from Spanish Town to Linstead when the crash took place about 9:45 a.m this morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the other occupants of the bus including the driver managed to escape quickly however the victim was trapped and unable to be freed in time.
