Asafa Powell and Alyshia Take on Jamaica’s Carnival – See Pics and Watch Videos
Fresh off their adventure to the beach, power couple Asafa Powell and his wife Alyshia Miller-Powell took to the streets with friends to participate in the much-anticipated carnival held by GenXS Carnival.
The couple, who launched their own podcast, Fastlane Lifestyle (and seem to be sticking to the theme) uploaded a multitude of pictures and videos to their social media accounts showing how much they enjoyed their time at GenXS’s Immortal J’Ouvert, which started at 2 AM early this morning. The pictures showed the couple covered in paint and posing with friends as the party raged around them.
The videos captured the circle of friends dancing in their carnival outfits against a fence while Asafa shouldered his wife’s butt as she danced. Another clip showed Alyshia on top of Asafa’s shoulders as he did knee lifts. The third video was of Alyshia seemingly collecting her carnival costume and dancing in anticipation of the road march with the caption, “@genxsjamaica ready for the road.”

After their escapades were posted to Instagram, excited fans of the couple commented on the fun they must have had. Keriduuh said, “Love how wifey match your energy ❤️😍,” and itznykkynycks_syp03 wrote, “you guys seems like you had a blast 🙌🏾🔥🔥😍.”
