Audiomack invites you to ‘Hold A Medz’ with launch of new series, Episode 2 features rising EastSyde artist, Rytikal
Not only has Audiomack found it’s sweet spot within the Caribbean as a free, easy-to-use streaming platform, available across all the countries but it has also established itself as that DSP that is in support of young, rising talent.
They added yet another facility to do so, with the ‘Hold A Medz’ series which will highlight Caribbean artists on the rise. “We captured the artists up close and personal in their natural setting whether it was in the studio, photoshoot, at home vibing or in the streets hanging out.” said Tanya Lawson, Director of Caribbean and Afrobeats at Audiomack.
Audiomack recently announced their partnership with Warner Music to make the record company’s diverse catalogue available on Audiomack across Africa, Jamaica and Canada for the first time. This new deal is especially significant for the Jamaican market as the country’s own Popcaan is a Warner Music (via Drake’s OVO Sound) artist as well as recent signee, rising artist Projexx, who was just featured on International artist Wizkid’s latest ‘Made In Lagos’ album.
Audiomack continues to stake its claim in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean and have recently launched @audimackcaribbean to put special focus on content within the Caribbean context, erected their first Billboards in Jamaica and in addition to ‘Hold A Medz’, has numerous activations in their holster to showcase rising talent from the region.
The second episode of ‘Hold A Medz’ with rising dancehall artist Rytikal is live now on the Audiomack Caribbean platform and the season will go on until early 2021, featuring a blend of Caribbean artistes from various genres.
