BACKLASH: Popcaan and the Guns Having Fun

[Sharingbuttons]Jamaican dancehall entertainer Popcaan just wanted to have some fun when he was on tour in Ontario. The artiste went to a Shooting Range where there were a lot of licensed gun handlers and did some target practice.

Photos/videos were posted on social media, showing him with the guns shooting and some of his followers did not like the idea. They think his young fans could be wrongly influenced when they see their star having fun with guns.

However his management team has tried to reassure persons that Andrae Sutherland aka Popcaan was just having fun and he had no intention to influence anyone in a wrong way. They even made it clear that other artistes have done target practise before and posted the photos on social media and it was no big deal.

The publicist said Popcaan was under the supervision of licensed firearm holders and there is nothing for anyone to worry about; as he is working on launching his next project, “Forever”. The new album will be released the end of this month.

The artiste is gearing up to launch “Forever” and is not paying much attention to negative comments at the moment. This is what his management team had to say.
