Bahamian Artiste Killed After He Was Booked for Reggae Sumfest

Mdeez a Bahamian artiste who was booked to appear on the Reggae Sumfest stage in July at Catherine Hall, Montego Bay. He succumbed to his injuries after he was involved in a traffic accident and then had an altercation with someone who stabbed him many times. He was rushed to the hospital, but he didn’t make it.

The Reggae Sumfest family including the Ceo Joe Bognanovich were all saddened by the news of the senseless murder; and wanted his friends and loved ones to know how much they shared their grief.
Devon Mdeez Knight aka Mdeez was one of the most talented emerging Rap/Dancehall, artiste from the Bahamas and he would be performing on Festival Night One if he hadn’t died.
He was a Bahamian, artiste with Jamaican roots and Bogdanovich was feeling good about helping to boost his career, as he believes music unites people in the best way to unify people in the Caribbean.
A 32-year-old is now in custody, they could be on the who will be charged for the crime.
The Reggae Sumfest Festival will begin on July 14th and ends on July 20th it will begin at the Tropical Bliss Beach under the theme ‘Our Music, our Festival’.
