Beenie Man Donates $300,000.00 to the Sickle Cell Unit

Beenie man donates to the Sickle Cell Unit at the University of the West Indies through his foundation, as his son Moses Davis Junior has sickle cell and he has been treated at the hospital many times.

The Beenie Man foundation was launched in July and it focuses on Sickle Cell treatment and youth entrepreneurship. Beenie man is the chairman and his daughter and his son are on the board of directors.

Sickle cell is hard to deal with and it has been hard for Beenie man as a parent to see his child going through the pain and different symptoms of the affliction.
