Beenie Man Donates Materials to Help Rebuild Family Home in Standpipe – Watch Video

Dancehall veteran Beenie Man has offered his assistance in reconstructing a family home that was destroyed by a fire last September.

On September 22, a child played with a lighter, which set fire to a sheet, causing the flames to spread. The fire destroyed nine rooms inside the home at Standpipe, St Andrew, displacing four families.

The tribulations of those families have apparently touched the heart of Beenie Man, who has donated materials to rebuild their home. The Who Am I singer took to Instagram to share the news with his fans by posting a video of the process.

“The people dem house bun down round a Standpipe…so we assist dem wid some material so dem can build back dem house,” he said in the video.

The video showed the foundation under construction in Standpipe, areas on the property that were affected by the fire, steel and blocks being transported to the worksite, and Beenie Man overseeing the activities.

The video has garnered over 2485 views since it was posted some hours ago and has been met with positive responses from IG users. Amid the comments from fans, Bounty Killer wrote, “Nation builder hand in hand 🙌🏾🙌🏿.”
