Bellwetha Re-emerges with ‘Economy’ Music Video

St. Ann native, Dancehall artiste Bellwetha whose real name is Amir Jahfar Fyffe released his first music video in two years, a witty and lyrical track titled ‘Economy’ which was accompanied by an eye-catching music video that is now racking up impressive numbers on YouTube.

In ‘Economy’, the versatile deejay who has been around since 2005 highlights his gangster ways in the streets and the ‘chopping’ that is being done to maintain a lavish lifestyle.

The music video for ‘Economy’ features Bellwetha and several of his associates including producer Bell Bell who as been making a name for him self on the Dancdehall music scene in recent times, having worked with several top-tier artistes including Valiant, RajahWild and more.

The visuals for ‘Economy’ also features several high-end vehicles and a lot of cash to blow.

Some lyrics, “Two Hundred milli and more that a gold… nuh bwoy man, f**k up the economy, Bell Bell F**k the economy, Cash Code dem a f**k up the economy, no budget.. We active and still a fuck the economy and a chop still, inna mi pocket mi have a mill.”

The song is featured on Cash Code’s Juta Riddim which has been one of the standout riddims in the genre over the past year. The song was mixed and mastered by Steeondon.

After it’s release on March 28, in 4 days ‘Economy’ racked-up over 80k views with over 5k likes and over 100 comments on YouTube.

Reacting to the song and video, one fan commented, “Watch e weather nuh mane, money rain fam. $100M & more, Att them,” another person stated, “God fada ina eh game nuh bwoi to eh ting uh done knw pree.”
