Among many other celebrities, Beyoncé too is speaking against the awful death of USA black man, George Floyd, by a police officer recently. You can find a picture of Floyd along with an intense caption “Rest in Power George Floyd” on the homepage of her website.
The footage of George killing spread all over the internet on Monday, May 25, in which George Floyd was being suffocated by a Minnesota officer, which is just one example of the systemic racism that is prevailing in America.
A protest began Tuesday night in Minneapolis, with people lining the streets carrying banners reading “KKKops” “Again?” “Black Lives Matter” and “Justice for George.”
Chants of “I can’t breathe” and “No Justice, No Peace” broke out among the demonstrators, who marched more than 2 miles to a city police precinct causing damage along the way.
His horrendous cries could be heard in the clip. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center but he passed away shortly after.
