Bodies Unearthed From Shallow Graves in St. Andrew

According to reports Detectives from the Major Investigations Division & St. Andrew South Police unearthed 5 bodies from two shallow graves during the course of a police operation at ‘Danger Island’ along the Sandy Gully Bridge a day ago.

During a police operation at ‘Danger Island’ in Washington Gardens, St. Andrew, bodies and skeletal remains were removed from shallow graves.

Superintendent Paul Thomas, the Officer in Charge of the Major Investigations Division, says that an investigation is being carried out which is linked to a search for missing persons. He also mentioned that the operation is in response to information that bodies were buried in the area.


With the help from the St. Andrew South Police Division and cadaver dogs from the Forensic Unit, skeletal remains were discovered.
