Usain Bolt stayed true to his words as he went and watched Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw playing live for Manchester City as they defeated Chelsea 2-0 at the Manchester City Academy Stadium to move up to second in the Women’s Super League.
It was a dominant display from the home team as they continued their chase for the title. However, the double record holder over the 100m and 200m did not get to witness Bunny Shaw scoring a goal as she usually does.
Bunny Shaw confirmed Bolt’s presence at the match by posting a couple of pictures to her Instagram account of her and Bolt hugging and holding one of her number 21 Manchester City jerseys. The in-form striker also got surprised with a visit from former Reggae Boyz and Bolton Wander’s captain Ricardo Bibi Gardener.
Shaw posted both photos with the caption, “Like mi ago afi get unu come more of the games #predictionking.”
During Bolt’s visits to Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester, the fastest man alive made a promise while he was doing a pre-match interview for the FA cup match between Manchester United and Fulham that he was planning to go to watch Bunny Shaw playing live for Manchester City for the first time, given that he was already in Manchester.
