The culinary restaurant Tracks and Records, owned by the legendary sprinting champion Usain Bolt, hosted its twelfth anniversary on Thursday, April 20, 2023, and invited Bounty Killer as one of the Dancehall acts, including Beenie Man, to perform at the event.
The anniversary was held at Marketplace in Kingston and scheduled to begin at 10:00 PM with ticket costs being $6,500 for VIP entrances and $3,500 for general audiences.
During his performance onstage, Bounty Killer, known widely as the “Warlord”, noticed that something was amiss when he was performing his set. In the middle of delivering a hardcore performance, the When We A Step deejay stopped and said, “Oi, oi. Oi oi stop,” before kicking one of the monitors offstage.
As the music subsided, the visibly angry entertainer stated, “Bum**cl**t…weh unnuh a do, wah kinda foolishness dis? Tek dem off…dem nah play nuh put dem up yah.” He then uses his hand to remove another monitor before jumping right back into his performance.
