The “Reggae Vaccine” album was launched on June 4th, by Contractor Music Marketing, and features a great plethora of artistes, whose music have been blended to provide listeners with the perfect music antidote in a time of worldwide distress.
Featured on the body of work are entertainers such as Julian Marley, Shatta Wale, Wayne Wonder, Jah Vinci, Gyptian, Bounty Killer and more.
Already as an achievement, the “Reggae Vaccine“, previously secured a second-place position on the Reggae Itunes chart, just one place behind Alkaline’s “Top Prize” album; however, it is at number 12 now which is still a good position on the chart and can still climb based on the unit sales of the project.
The “Grung Gad” himself, posted about the achievement on his Instagram, by sharing his song that was placed on the body of work, with its accomplishment.
Bounty’s selected song was “Mama Gone but Not Forgotten“, and the veteran deejay spoke about the track in his caption by stating “Six years ago i dedicated this song to my mom on her passing now today it has found itself in the iTunes top 100 charts featured on the reggae vaccine compilation album how ironic is that such a blessing from jah and my mother shining on LOVE YOU MAMA”.
