Bounty Killer Reminds Billboard that “Mi Gun dem still Load” after being Snubbed from Verzuz Cover

Bounty Killer and Beenie Man are not happy currently and they both think that Dancehall is being ignored and left out again. The two took to social media to vent their current issues with Billboard in particular.

Billboard published their latest magazine cover which featured the Verzuz clash and several acts that took part in the clashes however Beenie Man and Bounty Killer were not added. Billboard wrote on the two in their coveted magazine however people are not accepting the fact that the dancehall king pins were snubbed from the cover.

Timbaland stated in a live he was on with Swizz that “i feel like they need to re-evaluate their cover” Swizz on the other hand told Timbaland that he will make a new cover with Beenie and Bounty and unfortunately, Billboard did not show him the cover until it was posted.

Swizz Beatz has since edited and re-uploaded a cover with Beenie Man and Bounty Killer on the front which Bounty Killer has since posted, see below.

Bounty Wrote, “Tell ᗪᑌTTY @ᗷIᒪᒪᗷOᗩᖇᗪ ᗰI Gᑌᑎ ᗪEᗰ ᔕTIᒪᒪ ᒪOᗩᖇᗪ ᑕYᗩᗩᕼ GO ᖇOᑌᑎᗪ OᐯEᖇ ᑎOᖇ ᑌᑎᗪEᖇ”. The killer went on to explain that his clash with Beenie made it possible for Verzuz to make the cover of Billboard.

See the original cover posted by Billboard below. As you can see Swizz Beatz removed himself and Timbaland to insert the dancehall legends. This only happened however after the dancehall community bashed Swizz, Timbaland and Billboard online so much that they had to address the matter.

Beenie Man has since expressed his feelings on the matter stating that Dancehall has been “undermined throughout the years by even the same platforms it helped to create.

The doctor wrote the following caption along with the picture below “And not just billboard.. The culture VULTURES TOO”.

Beenie Man and Bounty Killer continues to give Timbaland and Swizz Beatz praises for the show they managed to put on.
