After stunning his fans and supporters last week by revealing that he had undergone major surgery, Dancehall artiste Bounty Killer shared a new update Thursday on how his recovery has been going.

The Dancehall stalwart has been in the industry for decades, with a vitality and stage presence seemingly capable of going decades more. As Bounty has maintained his presence both online and on the stage, many of the deejay’s fans were left surprised when he revealed on May 8 that he had undergone major surgery in May 2021.

Bounty had offered words of encouragement to those going through their own struggles and disclosed that he had recovered from the surgery in less than a year. This morning, Bounty shared a photograph on his Instagram page to show fans just how well his recovery has gone.

The Benz and Bimma deejay shared a before and after photograph revealing the unhealed, stapled scar left after the undisclosed procedure and his now healed abdomen. Captioning the post, Bounty highlighted the difference between the photograph taken after the surgery three years ago and his current state.
