Buju Banton Finally Arrives in Trinidad, All Smiles

Reggae Dancehall star Buju Banton is currently in Trinidad after much speculations about him not being granted permit to enter due to his US criminal record. Buju touched down Today along with Lucian and Wayne Wonder to much fanfare and well-wishers. The airport was overcrowded with people wanting to see Buju, while some managed to snap a pic or two most stood in awe and cheered the Gagamel as he walked through the airport in all smiles.

Last week Thursday Buju was regarded to have “Fall Foul of Trinidad Immigration laws”, according to Stuart Young who is Trinidad’s Minister of National Security Buju Banton will not be granted permission to enter the island unless an application was made for his entry. As a result of that statement, an application was made and according to the promoter of the event, this was the second time an application was sent as one was sent in November 2018.

After about a week of waiting, permission was finally granted on April 17, 2019, for Buju To enter Trinidad. See details below!

Buju arrived today April 19 and will be leaving Trinidad on Easter Monday, April 22.
