Buju Banton Takes Aim at Oppressors Ahead of JLP Press Conference
Outspoken veteran Reggae and Dancehall artiste Buju Banton lashed out at politicians and “so call bad man btm” over the weekend in a post that was later removed from his social media page.
This latest outburst from the Gargamel who is known to be a People’s National Party(PNP) supporter comes on the weekend of the press conference for the Jamaica Labour Party(JLP).
The post reads, “freedom fighters not these so call bad man btm. Who naa fight fi nutten while politicians tek hard working Jamaicans fi pure fool. Unu see wi country. How come no uptown people never send them pickeny go tun police but own a protect the real criminal elements ?”
The text that was shared to Instagram continues, “Tun round u gun pus , and end oppression or face the people when the time come bunch a bldclt idiots.”
He also followed up by asking for “better” roads, wages, education, healthcare, governance and standard of living.
He did not stop there, as he outlined that the island needs over a dozen ‘freedom fighters’ like Haiti’s Barbecue, “We want bout 20 barbecue fi dem pus ya stop play wid Jamaicans so yes i said it cuss mi now all unuh do is kill and tear dung unuh own…”
