The organisers Of Garamel Music and Boom Energy Drink present Long Walk to Freedom.
Tickets for the historic concert, slated for March 16th at the National Stadium in St Andrew, are almost completely sold out.
With one month to go, the tickets for the VIP and grandstand areas are completely finished and only a small number of tickets are still Available for the general field and bleachers sections of the stadium.
In January, thousands of tickets were quickly purchased after they went on sale on Caribtix.com and Buju’s official website, BujuBanton.com. The process then switched to physical sales at selected Digicel stores earlier this month.
According to Marlon Burke, a representative from Solid Agency, one of the producers of the event, the physical tickets have been steadily selling since they were placed in the stores, and they expect a completely sold out event.
“We’ve placed the tickets at different stores across the island to ensure that they were available to everybody. Now, there are only a few left, so this might be your last chance to get to see The Gargamel is his historic homecoming performance”. Says Marlon Burke.
With regard to the general tickets, which is priced at $12,500 and places the patron on the stadium football field, there are approximately 70 still available.
Burke said these remaining tickets are available at the Digicel headquarters in downtown Kingston and at the Digicel store in Tropical Plaza, Half-Way Tree, St Andrew.
“There are a few more bleachers tickets available, but I’m sure that they won’t be their for much longer,”
Burke said, while pointing out that they are being sold for $4,000 each.
The Long Walk to Freedom Concert will feature a star-studded line up of artistes sharing the stage with Grammy Award winner Buju Banton.
