Buju Sends Nationwide 90Fm Under “Muma”
Much controversy has once again arisen as Buju Banton volunteers himself as one of the persons who wish to keep his people “truthfully” updated on the effects that the Covid-19 pandemic has been having on their lives.
In a recent post, the “Gargamel” posted some infographics concerning the outbreak, captioning the post “In plain sight”, however, Instagram did not take to it as they eventually had it censored. Buju’s post was flagged shortly after publishing because the social platform believes he was using his Instagram profile to mislead his over 1.3 million followers.
Many persons/entities online are also of the view that the veteran artiste is spreading false information and conspiracy theories about the pandemic. In a response to the Instagram censorship, local radio and news station, newstalk90 Fm wrote a story about the ongoing fight against the pandemic, that Buju has been brewing, also posting a preview on their Instagram account.
In the title of the article, the media source wrote: “Instagram Calls Out Buju Banton For Spreading False Information About Covid-19 Pandemic” while writing an epistle in their caption stating that the entertainer was flagged by the social media platform for the false information he has been spreading, whilst also referring to Buju’s claims about the virus as conspiracy theories.
That post did not sit well with the “I Am A Jamaican” artiste, as he commented on the very same post by Nationwide 90FM telling them bluntly “Suck unu muma unu will si”.
The media outlet did not respond to the veteran artiste, however, it will be interesting to see how the story develops.
