Businessman Killed by Man Posing as a Customer
A St. Thomas Businessman was shot and killed at his Morant Bay cook shop by a man who was allegedly posing as a customer.
According to reports, the victim, who was identified as 51-year-old Adrian Blake, was at his cook shop on Friday when a man entered at around 9:15 pm and ordered a meal from one of the employees. Shortly after ordering the man pulled out a gun and opened fire. Blake was hit in the upper body, and the unidentified assailant fled on foot.
Blake was later transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
The investigation into Blake’s murder is ongoing and no motive has yet been established.
