Pregnant Woman And Common Law Husband Killed In Fatal St. James Shooting
A Pre-dawn attack on Saturday by unknown assailants in the community of Norwood, St. James has led to the death of a pregnant woman and her common-law husband who was gunned down in the incident.
According to reports on the matter, the deceased individuals were recognized to be 22-year old Suwayne Pennicott and 19-year-old Barrington Clarke. It is understood that at approximately 3:50 a.m gunshots were heard by residents sounding off from the Chico Lane area of Norwood after which the Police were summoned.
After their arrival, Pennicott who was said to be four months pregnant was found suffering from gunshot wounds along with Clarke. As it relates to the cause of the attack, no motive has yet been discovered.
