Busy Signal and Isa Fya Infuse Reggae for New Collaborative Track ‘A Moment Like This’
Amid the celebration of Reggae Month, dancehall artiste Busy Signal and Latin singer Isa Fya have delivered a new reggae-infused cover of the beloved love song A Moment Like This for lovers as Valentine’s Day approaches.
A Moment Like This was released by Kelly Clarkson as her debut single following the singer’s American Idol season 1 win. Busy Signal is known for his creative reimagining of well-known tracks, including gospel songs and soulful classics.
The artiste infused dancehall with his singles Sweet Love (Night Shift) and One More Night, which were featured on his album D.O.B. and inspired by tracks by the Commodores and Phil Collins. The deejay has once again infused his dancehall flare into a classic track, this time collaborating with Isa Fya for a creative spin on an old love song.
Isa Fya, known for singles such as So Loud and Dilema with Pipe Calderón, delivers the first verse and the chorus of the track on a pop, reggae, one-drop-infused beat. Busy Signal further breathes new life into the well-known single in the second and third verses.
“On a moment like diss, mi sit back and reminisce. Di sun Shine a bless yuh face; it’s like a morning bliss. Sun kiss, gyal mi love fi si yuh smile like diss. Love mi got fi you coulda neva switch,” Busy Signal sings on the track.
