A Canadian woman who was a passenger in a Toyota motor car lost her life after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a perimeter wall on Kent Avenue, Barnett Street in St. James, Jamaica, on Monday.

The (CCU) the police’s Corporate Communications Unit reported that the accident took place at approximately 4:30 am and the woman was identified as 35-year-old Cynthia Giguere from Canada.

No information was given about the driver, but Giguere who was badly injured, was pronounced dead after she was taken to the hospital.
