It is reported that the four occupants of the motor vehicle were travelling along the Michael Manley Boulevard, in a section of the Manley Meadows housing scheme. According to eyewitnesses, it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the road before plunging into the sea.
It has since been revealed that two of the occupants of the ill-fated vehicle are children. All four persons were rescued by passersby and the police and immediately rushed to the hospital.
The state of their condition is at this time unknown.
