Cardi B Posts Touching Instagram Tribute to Takeoff – See Pictures

Cardi B, the wife of rapper Offset, one of the two remaining Migos, and cousin of the recently deceased Takeoff, posted a tribute to Takeoff, hours ago on her Instagram account in memory of his life.

She started by stating, “Takeoff your untimely passing has brought a great deal of pain and sorrow to so many lives.” Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus (real name of Cardi B) expressed how much his passing has affected not only his family but the world at large because of the great impact just living his life had made on many.

Cardi mentioned that although she is heartbroken, she will surely continue to cherish the unforgettable moments that they experienced together when the rapper was still alive despite the nightmarish situation and the endless pain.

“The emptiness your brothers are feeling is unbearable and I pray that you give Offset, Quavo, and your friends and family the strength to keep going as they are trying to cope with this loss,” she continued. The heartfelt message also stated that Cardi is a Migos fan, and that looking back at pictures and videos of them when they were still a trio hurts, especially filled with the knowledge that things will never be the same again.

The Money rapper voiced that although gone, she is positive that the world and close family members of Takeoff will not let his memory, his achievements in changing the culture, and his influence on music die.

In closing, the mother of 2 lamented, “I pray that you are at peace and in paradise because you deserve every bit of it…Rest in power TakeOff 🚀💔I will also love you 4L & after.”
