Chapta Nyne Shares What ‘Grandma Seh’

With the changing patterns of Dancehall Music, recording artiste Chapta Nyne has decided to create his own lane with his track, ‘Grandma Seh’. The track was released as a dedication to the prophetic advice our elders give us throughout our lives.

Presented to us by Bad Artist Entertainment, the single was made available on all digital media outlets earlier this year with a Deus Beni-directed video to complement it. Set in Atlanta, the video is led by popular social media personality, Slick Whiteline and is the perfect blend of comedy, relatability and entertainment.

Speaking with Chapta Nyne, he delves into the inspiration behind the track; “This song seeks to help widen the scope with which we see life. If anyone can teach you from experience it’s your grandma and that relatability is what continues to drive the traction for this track.

Grandma Seh teaches you how to handle success and pay attention to those around you and Slick Whiteline captured the essence of the track and brought it to life in the official video. Overall I am pleased with the response this project has been receiving.”

The artiste, who has worked with musical staples such as Sly and Robbie, Firehouse Crew, Mikey Bennett, among others, credits the outcome of his recent project to hit-making producer, Quantanium Records, who is currently putting the final touches on his upcoming EP.

“My EP will be released in coming months and will feature Grandma Seh as well as Focus Like Telescope, another track the masses can use to identify my presence on the Dancehall scene. Focus Like A Telescope was released before Grandma Seh and was the track that set the precedent for me to follow up with the positive vibration it brought.”

He continues, “That track was entered into multiple competitions, winning each, awarding it airplay across numerous radio stations in the US and Africa. Focus Like Telescope still continues to dominate in its demographics and I am grateful”.

The official video for ‘Focus Like Telescope’ features fellow entertainer, Trabass, adding to the comedic but educational value of the track by applying his theatrical knowledge awarding the video thousands of views.

While Chapta Nyne continues to put a strong promotional muscle behind ‘Grandma Seh’, he urges youths to adhere to the real message in his track while enjoying its melodies.
